Strudda Bank School Visits

'Farmer Kev' and the Strudda Bank team have been providing Farm visits, to local schools and groups, for over 10 years now welcoming over 600 children onto the farm every year.

We love to show the children what we get up to on the farm throughout the seasons, with lambing and calving times being particularly popular. Kevin has trained with educational access and Vicky has a BA Hons in primary education, both also have been DBS Checked and we have an onsite risk assessment available.

If you are interested in visiting the farm with your class or group, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us, or arrange a pre visit.

Some comments form visiting teachers ...

"Our School has been visiting this farm for over 6 years now and it is both the staff and children’s favourite trip!"

"The farm gives the visiting children and adults the chance to have a real farming-life experience.  From helping to catch young lambs for marking, collecting eggs, making ‘cow cake’, learning about the importance of growing crops, barn owls, sheep dogs, to checking on the calving cows on the tractor and trailer, the farm provides many opportunities to learn about farming.
